MaxMeeting, provided by MaxPoints LLC, doing business as MaxPoints (“MaxPoints,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses artificial intelligence to listen to your conversations and suggest what to say. This disclaimer explains what those features do and their limits. It is part of our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.
How MaxMeeting uses AI
- Transcription. When you start the live coach, short pieces of microphone audio are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to be turned into text.
- Live advice. The transcript, the goal you enter, and, for members, your About you details and ChatGPT briefing are used to suggest what you might say next.
- Recaps and next steps. Saved conversations can be summarized into a recap with suggested next steps, and plans can draw on that history.
- Demo. The demo shows sample advice for a sample conversation and does not use your microphone.
AI can be wrong
AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or unsuited to your situation. Transcripts can mishear words, miss who is speaking, or struggle with noise, accents, and crosstalk, and advice built on a faulty transcript can be faulty too. Suggestions may sound confident even when they are wrong, and the same conversation can produce different suggestions.
You decide what to say
Suggestions are prompts for your own judgment, not instructions. You are responsible for what you say and do. Read each suggestion before using it, and do not use one that is untrue, unkind, misleading, or wrong for the moment.
Not professional advice
MaxMeeting does not give legal, medical, mental health, financial, tax, or employment advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. For negotiations, disputes, health matters, or other high-stakes conversations, get advice from someone qualified. If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services.
Recording and consent
Laws in many places require the consent of everyone in a conversation before it is recorded or transcribed. You are responsible for telling the other people in your conversation and getting any consent the law requires before you start the live coach.
What you share with the AI
Avoid sharing passwords, payment card numbers, health records, or other sensitive details in conversations or on your About you page unless you need to. We do not keep audio after it has been transcribed, and our Privacy Policy describes what we keep and how you can delete it.
Our safeguards
- The live coach only listens after you start it and your browser grants microphone access.
- Saved conversations, plans, and profile details are tied to your account and visible only to you.
- A connected ChatGPT can only read or replace your ChatGPT briefing, and you can disconnect it in Settings.
- Request limits help keep the coach available and prevent misuse.
No guarantee
We do not promise that AI features will be available at all times, will produce any particular outcome, or will improve the result of any conversation. To the extent the law allows, AI features are provided “as is,” as described in our Terms of Service.
Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer as our AI features change. We will update the date above when we do.
